CPM Express GAAP Release PV9.3.0 SV101

The theme for this Minor release is a productized solution that brings together the leading practices of the world’s top-performing organizations for planning, reporting, and consolidations into a unified, scalable solution.

Highlights

  • This release was focused on 9.3.0 compatibility and upgrading Line Item Modeling and Workforce Planning.

  • The OneStream software platform version 9.3.0 or later is required.

Enhancements

  • Upgraded the Following Solutions for 9.3.0 Compatibility:

    • Cloud Administrator Tools (CAT)

    • OneStream Diagnostics (ODS)

    • Help Desk (HDK)

  • Upgraded Workforce Planning Express to be Compatible with Line Item Modeling PV9.0.0 SV2.0.0.

  • Removed OneStream Press Navigation Group in Genesis.

  • Renamed “Health Monitoring” to System Diagnostics.

  • Updated Default Visibility Behavior for Optional Solutions.

  • Line Item Modeling PV9.0.0 SV2.0.0 is required to use Workforce Planning Express.

Known Issues

  • Cube View Tree View block on Review Page of Planning Framework does not support nested parameters

  • GDR - Selector List View Order resets to default values when discovering parameters on cube view reports in report management where the Selector List View Order values were manually updated

The theme for this Major release is an IFRS compliant application for consolidation, planning, and reporting - delivered through a productized approach that accelerates time-to-value and ensures predictable, scalable outcomes.

Highlights

This latest release delivers greater transparency and control for finance teams, introducing the Consolidation Helper for clear audit trails into elimination and consolidation entries, a detailed documentation around the consolidation engine, an enhanced Consolidation Hub to handle proforma and what-if, Intercompany Matching at the transaction currency level, along with reporting, performance, and usability enhancements.

New Features

  • Consolidation Helper: Provides a debit/credit log of consolidation entries, increasing transparency and auditability.

  • Consolidation Hub: Enhanced user experience for ownership copy, proforma, and constant currency scenarios. Enables flexible management of ownership structures and scenario creation.

  • Confirmation Rule Manager: No/low code builder for confirmation rules, with new rule types and extended edit capabilities.

  • Intercompany Matching at Transaction Currency: Allows matching at the transaction currency level, improving reconciliation and FX impact analysis.

  • Data Movement Tool (DMT) Solution: Solution intended to pivot and facilitate data movement between cubes either through Data Management Export Sequences or Dynamic Scenarios populated through a Business Rule.

  • CPM Express IFRS’s consolidation engine now natively supports periodic translation.

Enhancements

  • Genesis Improvements: Upgraded Genesis blocks for better integration and usability.

  • Enhanced Reports: Improved statement of change in equity, OCI reports, and other analytics.

  • Constant Currency "Fixed Period" type: Added support for fixed-period constant currency rates, giving users more flexibility when configuring translation rate overrides.

  • Tax Confirmation Rules converted to Confirmation Rule Manager: Migrated tax confirmation rules to the Confirmation rule Manager, consolidating all confirmation logic into a single unified rule.

  • Narrative Reporting added as optional solution: Narrative Reporting is now available as an optional solution on the CPM Express Setup Page.

  • Planning: Updated the Planning Framework solution UI and enhanced modeling capabilities.

Fixed Issues

  • Cash Flow Yearly Scenario Error: Resolved an error that occurred when running the cash flow solution on a yearly scenario.

  • Ownership Rollup Using Incorrect Dimension: Fixed the Sub AcctParameter to use the FinRPT Dimension PK instead of api.pov.DimPK when rolling up ownership information (% Own, % Con, Method).

  • Parent Parameter Showing Limited Entities: Corrected the parent parameter to display all parent entities across cubes rather than only POV cube-specific parents.

  • Missing Confirmation Rule: Added the missing G00_001_ClosingBalanceImport confirmation rule for balance sheet closing balance validation to the Confirmation Rule Manager.

  • Consolidation Failure at Varying Subconsolidation Depths: Fixed consolidation not working in specific cases involving subconsolidations with different levels of depth.

  • DOPE/ROPE DFIN/RFIN Flow’s Descriptions Update: Updated descriptions on DOPE/ROPE DFIN/RFIN members to reflect broader usage beyond depreciation (e.g., increase in provisions).

  • WFR Data Entry Performance: Improved performance and resolved hanging issues in WFR (Workflow Review) Data Entry by optimizing the SQL query for audit cell retrieval.

  • OwnerPostAdj Not included on ResEx Accounts: Fixed OwnerPostAdj not being taken into account by the flow appropriation on ResEx accounts.

  • Constant Currency Calculation: Fixed issues with the constant currency calculation logic.

  • Scope IN/OUT Specific Rates Not Applied: Fixed scope-specific rates not being applied during translation due to api.pov.parent not being passed, and corrected the CubeView to pull UD2 currency based on the selected parent.

  • Cons Parameter Issue: Resolved an issue with the consolidation parameter selection.

  • Data Access Security Misalignment Between Cubes: Aligned Data Access / Sliced Security categories between StatutoryDetail and StatutoryReporting cubes, standardizing category names and removing redundant entries.

Deprecation

  • Task Manager removed from Genesis Landing Page.

  • Legacy Cash Flow members removed from UD5.
