Discover: Select a package’s content file and click Discover to find any parameters requiring a default value. These parameters display in the supplied parameters grid so users can assign a literal value.
NOTE: Parameter discovery uses a recursive algorithm to discover nested parameters (parameters in parameters). By default, this is performed ten times, but you can change this by modifying the Parameter Discovery Nesting option in the Setup page.
Bypass Literal (Yes/No): Select to bypass all literal parameters when using the Discover feature.
NOTE: All changes made to parameter values during the shipping process do not change the actual value of the Dashboard parameter or the original extensible document or book.
