The theme of this release is a new snippet, miscellaneous usability enhancements, and defect resolution.

Deployment

• This release supports an overinstall for all versions. There are no database table changes.

• The minimum OneStream platform version to use with this version of Snippet Editor is now 6.2.0 or higher.

New Features and Enhancements

• New email snippet added (21641):

  • Extender Automation

    • General

      • User Inactivity Email. This snippet automates sending of emails prior to user expiration.

Fixed

• The Parser Business Rule snippet Replace Invalid Character in Members before Stage Import now correctly evaluates the incoming source value and removes the invalid characters. (18655)

• The Consolidating Annotations snippet no longer throws an error when the text is blank. The snippet code now correctly determines if the annotation is empty prior to returning the value. (18524)

• The Auto Create Member snippet (Extender | Metadata | General) now properly saves the member and its properties. (19174)

• The Send Email snippet (General | Other | General) now properly adds attachments, which was not working in previous Solution releases. (21547)

Known Issues

Some email providers may have certain thresholds that prevent emails from being delivered in bulk when using the User Inactivity Email snippet. Check your email provider’s thresholds for total messages allowed per minute and total recipients allowed per day. (23033)
