When using the Spreadsheet feature, there will be a OneStream menu item and a ribbon. See OneStream Ribbon Navigating the Excel Add-In for an explanation of the items within Spreadsheet that function the same as those in the Excel Add-In. Items documented below function differently than they do in the Excel Add-In, or do not exist in the Spreadsheet Tool.
File Operations
The File Operations grouping in the Excel Add-In does not exist in Spreadsheet. The Save to Server and File Explorer ribbon options are not available because they are integrated with the OneStream application within Spreadsheet. Save an Offline Copy is under the General Grouping in Spreadsheet.
Explore
Create Copy of Selected Quick View is available in Spreadsheet and copied Quick Views can only be pasted within the same workbook. See Create Quick Views in Navigating the Excel Add-In for more options.
General
The Display Context Pane option does not exist in the Spreadsheet feature because it is not needed. The OneStream task pane automatically appears when using the Spreadsheet feature.
Under Preferences, the General options are not needed in the Spreadsheet for Windows Only tool. These options manage how Microsoft Sign In is handled, how Macros are handled, and how data is refreshed in an open workbook. The Spreadsheet feature does not utilize this functionality.
