Cloud Administration Tools Release PV8.5.0 SV100

The theme for this Minor release is enhancements for continued optimal operations of existing features.

Highlights

With this update, Platform Version 8.5.0 is the minimum version to operate Cloud Administration Tools.
Enhancements made to Key Management enable users to bulk export and import certificates and secrets.
FedRAMP customers can now access Key Management features.

In Key Management, users can now:
- Export certificates and secrets. An encrypted file containing all certificates are downloaded to the OneStream file share for later import. (MP3-8568, MP3-8569)
- Import certificate and secret files from your local File Explorer. (MP3-8572, MP3-8575)
FedRAMP customers can now access the Key Management dashboard and store keys within Cloud Administration Tools while maintaining FedRAMP compliance. The Certificates and Secrets tabs are available for use. To learn more, see Key Management. (MP3-8074)

NOTE: Non-FedRAMP customers have continued full access to Key Management features.

The following function is scheduled for removal in this release in the manner consistent with our sunset policy:
- User Management Console (MP3-7462)

This release supports a reinstall over the existing installation. Reach out to your OneStream Software representative for questions regarding this process.
OneStream strongly recommends uninstalling the UI for Cloud Administration Tools before installation. Any modifications to settings must be redone.

This solution is compatible with OneStream Platform Version 8.5.0 or later. This is the minimum version required.

The following content was updated in the Cloud Administration Tools Guide:
- Release Number
- Key Management topics have been updated to reflect enhancements added. (MP3-8568, MP3-8569, MP3-8572, MP3-8575)
- All content related to the User Management Console has been removed from the Cloud Administration Tools guide. (MP3-7462)

This release includes support for the new iCOM functionality that eliminates the need for an IIS Reset during job execution. However, this feature is not yet available in FedRAMP cloud environments, pending completion of the iCOM ATO audit.
Impact for FedRAMP customers: When running a job in Cloud Administration Tools, the History page will display the job as still running in a Resetting IIS state. In OneStream, the associated task will appear as Canceled by the System. This occurs because the IIS Reset continued to run in FedRAMP environments, terminating the job process before Cloud Administration Tools can update the job status.

IMPORTANT: The application copy operation completes successfully. Only the status reporting is affected.
This limitation is temporary and will be resolved in a subsequent release following ATO approval.
