Known Issues
This release contains a change to OneStream’s use of Python that reduces the exposure of a low impact security vulnerability (CVE-2023-40217). Previous versions require Python executables impacted by this vulnerability to be resident on a server for solution operation. With this release the Python executables are bundled with the solution and loaded on demand, lessening the exposure of the vulnerability.
If operating a previous version of PAM, an upgrade to PAM PV620 SV103 is recommended. This is a standard upgrade with no configuration requirements nor end user impact.
An updated version of PAM leveraging a current version of Python without the security vulnerability is planned. Delivery target dates will be available in Q4 2024.
