Navigation

The Navigation page displays a hierarchical view of how content is organized into Application Groups, Navigation Groups, and Pages. From this page, you can configure Application Groups, Navigation Groups, and Pages to define the end-user view.

The page includes the following sections:

  • On the left panel, you can manage Application Groups, Navigation Groups, and Pages, add and configure content, and reorder the navigation tree and set defaults.

    Left panel has the Designer Home toolbar with the Navigation icon selected, the Application Groups drop-down menu, and the Navigation Groups and Pages toolbars and navigation tree.

  • Select an item in the navigation tree. Then, to the right, you can select the Preview, Designer, and Content tabs to view and configure content.

    In the upper right, you can set your preference to turn the preview on (click the Show Preview Show Preview icon is an eye with a slash. icon) or off (click the Hide Preview Hide Preview icon is an eye. icon).

    • Preview: This tab displays a full preview of the end-user view of the selected content.

    • Designer: If you select a Content Block or a Page that has a Content Block injected, this tab displays the configuration options. Options are different for each Content Block.

      Designer tab features Cube View With Layouts Configuration Content Block configuration options. Cube View tab is selected to display Cube View Settings with a Cube View selected, description, and default header setting.

      NOTE: If you select a Navigation Group, dashboard, or Page that has a dashboard linked, the Designer tab has no content.

      NOTE: For configuration instructions, see the Content Block Guide in the Content Library on the Details page or on OneStream Solution Exchange.

      To view details for the Content Block, click the Show block Info Show block Info icon is a gray circle with a white lowercase letter i. icon.

      Content Block Detail slide-out panel shows information for the Cube View With Layouts Content Block, including the name, description, category, modality, creator, version, and minimum Genesis and platform versions.

    • Content: This tab displays a rendered preview of the output of the selected content.

      Designer tab features Forecast Summary Motors Division data in a grid.
